Join Mourning Sun for our first ever virtual retreat. Despite social distancing, no one should feel alone in their grief. It is our goal to connect in a safe yet meaningful way during these challenging times. This live event is open to anyone age 18 and older across the country who has experienced the death of a loved one.

 

Our founding team is bringing guided activities to your computer screen. The retreat will incorporate group discussions, therapeutic art projects, yoga, and other interactive tools to support you in your grief process. Optional breakout sessions will allow you to focus on topics most beneficial to you. We will close the evening as a group with a remote candle lighting ceremony in memory of our loved ones. You won't be glued to the screen all day; mindful breaks will also be incorporated.

We recognize that there are all types of grief and loss. However, we request that you only register for this event if somebody you love has passed away. Even in a virtual environment, we believe this is an important thread to connect participants and get the most out of our time together.

 

Total amount due to secure your spot is $99. The informed consent, participation form and payment below must all be submitted before participation. *Everyone who completes their registration and payment by October 10th will receive a care package in the mail (with art supplies, candles and printouts) to use throughout the day, for no additional fee. Additional members of the same household registering by October 10th will also receive a discounted rate of $85.

Founding partner and licensed clinical social worker Rachel Simon will be available for additional consultation sessions the following Sunday, October 25th (fees apply).
